Be sure to save any unsaved work before running TFC. TFC requires a reboot immediately after running. TFC will completely clear all temp files where other temp file cleaners may fail. Depending on how often someone cleans their temp folders, their system hardware, and how many accounts are present, it can take anywhere from a few seconds to a minute or more. TFC will not clean URL history, prefetch, or cookies. I have a Windows 7, 6.1 build 7600 with all of the updates I cleaned the temp folders with CCleaner a few times already, did a complete scan, waited a few minutes and BAM the warning appeared again.
Windows and all of the malware scanners' are up to date. Avira complete scan shows the system is clean. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware shows that the system is clean. Exactly every 5 minutes I get two warnings from Avira Antivir that say the following:Īccording to Avira there was a virus that was aparently hiding under the svchost.exe name in every one of these folders.
This is a peculiar problem that I'm having.
